abstract = "The aim of this paper is to analyze the accuracy of Precise Point
Positioning (PPP) technique, of points, using short observation
times, performing the comparison with post-processed points (from
an adjusted basis). Therefore, the coordinates and the precision of
the points were compared, and also were analyzed the precision of
the vertices. The points analyzed were collected in the urban area
of the municipality of Jaguari/RS. The methodological procedures
of this paper are divided into three stages: collection of GNSS
data, post-processing and analysis of data. The analysis of the
processed data obtained average accuracies of 1 cm, 1 cm and 2 cm,
respectively, for E, N and H coordinates. The average accuracies
of PPP were 59 cm, 86 cm and 169 cm, respectively, for E, N and H
coordinates. The discussions of this paper are of great importance
because, consequently, the obtained results suggest that using the
PPP technique to obtain point positions with short collection
times is problematic, since a minimum observation time is needed
to avoid compromising the final quality of results.",
